Jon Stewart: ‘Mitt Romney’s reaction’ to Obama’s oath blunder

When Barack Obama stumbled over the word “states” while taking the presidential oath of office Monday, it went virtually unnoticed compared to how Chief Justice John Roberts was hammered for butchering the words four years ago.

However, Jon Stewart, who I normally think is a jerk, put an uproariously funny, must-watch spin on the flub.

According to Wikipedia, that not-so-legitimate news source we read anyway, the oath has been bungled six times, beginning in 1909 and ending with Robert’s 2009 mishap.

Mitt Romney would never say that. He would say "Oh for freak sakes". "Well bless his heart". "Where's his teleprompter?"

Obama and Roberts climbed the oath tree with their speech writers; no mistakes happened – it was all part of the grander stiffer plan. Britannia still rules us through their Middle East colonies.
