Waiter rejects customers who mocked Down syndrome boy

A Texas restaurant was the scene of both the best and worst of who we are.

Michael Garcia, a waiter at Laurenzo’s restaurant in Houston, denied service to a table after they made offensive remarks about a special needs child.

      Sometimes being a decent human being requires one to step outside of one's job requirements. I think he was serving this child quite well.

    you're kidding me.. right?????????? did you even comprehend what was said on the video???? this was an assault on who the waiter considered "(as ALL the customers are)" family….. it had absolutely nothing to do with judgement… and everything to do with morals and ethics.. then on top of that… this person made these derogatory comments in front of his own children.. hopefully the waiter sent a clear message to them as how NOT to act as their father did…. if it was your family or you had a down syndrome child i bet not only would you be singing a different tune…. there would be a big tip in the offing……
