Donald Trump, Chuck Norris endorse ‘tough guy’ Bibi

Elections may be over in the U.S., but they’re heating up in Israel.  Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be on the ballot next week, and he has a couple of heavy-weights in his corner as Donald Trump and Chuck Norris release video ads of endorsement.

“I’m a big fan of Israel, and frankly, a strong prime minister is a strong Israel, and you truly have a great prime minister in Benjamin Netanyahu,” Trump says in the ad. “There’s nobody like him. He’s a winner. He’s highly respected. He’s highly thought of by all, and people really do have great, great respect for what’s happened in Israel.”

Both ads promote the Netanyahu’s campaign theme of “a strong Prime Minister is a strong Israel.”

“You might think I’m a tough guy in my films, but in a rough neighborhood like the Middle East, Israel has his own tough guy. His name is Bibi Netanyahu,” Norris says. “Bibi brought the pressing issue of Israel’s security to the world, speaking loudly and clearly to the United Nations and in Congress, bringing the world together to put sanctions on Iran.”

Netanyahu and his Likud Beiteinu alliance are expected to capture enough Knesset seats to form a government with allies, according to International Business Times, who says that Trump and Norris are well-liked in Israel.
