Are ‘toys for ta-tas’ naughty or nice?

4082325At the risk of coming across sounding like a prudish shrew, a Fox News video about “Toys for Ta-Tas” has me sputtering with righteous indignation.

Gossipmonger Nik Richie, owner of the asinine website, “Thedirty.com,” is offering women –I assume women, I don’t know the actual rules of the contest – a chance to win a pair of breasts with the donation of a pair of toys for underprivileged children.

My husband said, “oh, that’s nice.” No, it’s not nice! How pathetic has society become that we take something as good and charitable as giving to Toys for Tots, and debase the idea of it to bribery for a boob job? And it is bribery.  Fox Phoenix reported Richie said he was trying to figure out a way to motivate his readers to donate.

Don’t get me wrong. I provided cannoli’s for the volunteers at the Romney call center to keep them coming back. But rue the day we need to bribe people to donate toys for needy children during the holiday season. It defies the spirit of the season of giving, in my opinion.

I about fell over in my chair when Richie said, basically, these breast implants will be exceptional: “These tat-tas are really good ta-tas. You’re looking at a $10,000 to $15,000 boob job so a lucky lady is going to have an unbelievable Christmas.”

What, are they going to be inflated with gold? I live in one of the wealthiest counties in the country and no way do implants go for that much money. Just saying.

And any woman looking for breast augmentation should run, run, I tell you, from any publicity hound doctor who is willing to do this surgery. Guaranteed Richie is hoping for a boob job gone bad so he can write all about it on his website.

If you want breast implants, pay for them and be proud of it. Could you really look in the mirror and say, “I won these ta-tas donating toys at Christmas time?”

Please, if you are going to donate a toy, do it for the right reasons and give to a worthy charity like Toys for Tots.
