Dan Rather was uncharacteristically critical of President Obama on MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow Show.
Rather said Obama gave the Republicans a major victory by backing away from Ambassador Susan Rice and allowing her to withdraw her bid for Secretary of State. “Talk is cheap,” he told Maddow.
Expressing a growing concern that is building among Democrats , Rather said, “This tells us something about President Obama.” He added, “I think it raises very, very serious questions of what the president’s second term is going to be.”
