Shari McCartney, an attorney for the Allen West campaign, is in charge of negotiating the security of West’s ballots in Palm Beach County and has been on scene at the Riviera Beach vote tabulation center.
“People are tired,” McCartney said. “But it is going fairly well.”
Complaints submitted by written affidavit will be reviewed by Elections Supervisor Susan Bucher at a later time, McCartney said.
At noon today, Palm Beach and St. Lucie County judges will hear requests for a manual recount after questionable activities were reported on the night of the election.
West, who has not said much about the process publicly, spoke recently with a Miami reporter.
“At about 2 in the morning, they had us up by 2,000 votes, and they went and recounted votes that would’ve already been counted,” he told WPLG reporter. “It came back that we were down 2,400, and there were some problems with closing and locking doors up in St. Lucie. So, there’s a hearing today on those type of things, and we will get the results from it.”
The counting continues today until 5 p.m. In Palm Beach County, where elections officials are still counting absentee and military ballots, West gained 300 votes as of Thursday afternoon.

Goes to show you just how screwed up this country is, when a real War Hero, like Allen West, doesn’t win by a landslide! Allen West is a war hero who is not afraid to speak up for our rights and the Constitution. Too many people today want back door politics in order to achieve a selfish agenda. In another 4 years we more than likely won’t even have a Constitution. If they determine there were shenanigans going on at these polling places those responsible should be prosecuted.

It is very strange that you call LTC West a cry baby that was booted out. I served thirty-years in the army and LTC West is not a cry baby by a long shot. He did what he did to save his soldiers and he was not booted out. He was allowed to retire with all pay and entitlements. Totally different from what you are saying. I just wonder if you would make these same comments to his face? His soldiers and many who have served with him speak very highly of him. That is the best compliment any leader can receive. I think you need to get a clue. It is very strange that a few years ago when Franken was pulling votes out of the back of cars and all other crazy crap I never heard any libs complaining then. Allen West is one politician who can give politics a good name. I honor his military career and I personally would follow him into hell if I served under him. He is a real man’s man who does not mince words nor make any effort to parse his words to appease those who may be offended by his positions on the constitution and his love of America. I hope upon hope that one day he is the Republican candidate for POTUS. He would be one of the greatest, and I ,for the first time in a long time, would be proud of my country, once again.
It a constant amazement to me that Liberal Democrats get onto Conservative sites where like-minded people are commenting and they interject their opinions like they are SO intelligent and are “teaching” us something. Obviously, there is NOTHING of any interest or consequence on the liberal sites. All they seem to be able to do is “call names,” and degrade the Conservative candidates. Like all the democrat candidates are as pure as snow. I say to those “Go get your attention and 15 minutes of fame on some other site”!! Who holds the “key” to the ballot box? Is the facility secure or are people walking in and out with boxes, bags, etc. Hopefully it would take two keys to get into where the ballots are located and being counted, one key for each party. Someone could place a few boxes full of absentee ballots here and there that could be “found” during a recount. “Hey, where did these come from? We must have forgotten to count them. Oh look, most are from Democrats. This should settle it.”
Apparently, those of us who know what’s going on are going to just sit around and talk about it. We need a real leder to organize a real revolution. We need to take this country back – away from the cheating, lying Democrats and the corrupt media. I don’t understand why Conservatives continue to watch programming on the channels, that also have corrupt news. We need to stick together and refuse to watch any programs on ABC, NBC or CBS. Also, we need to contact the advertisers, who advertise on those channels and tell them that we will not purchase their items, if they advertise on the above channels, plus, MSNC or CNN. The only way to bring them down is to ruin them, financially. Spread the word and let’s get all Conservatives to participate. It would be good if we had a popular leader to get this really going.
The entire election process has been violated. Conservatives Americans are not believing the accuracy based on the high numbers,the voting machine issues, lost, missing, thrown out ballots,military ballots…the list continues. There has to be a better way to secure our votes, our right to vote and possibly removing the electorial college.
