Al Gore compares long voting lines to Jim Crow laws

Tuesday night, former Vice President Al Gore spoke on Current TV comparing the long lines to vote in Miami-Dade County, Florida to Jim Crow laws.

“It is un-American,” Gore said. “This is a disgrace.”

Voters in some Miami precincts waited as much as five hours to vote, and the New York Times reported that others in Virginia and Texas had waits up to four hours.

“It is a strategy and it is a direct descendant of the racist Jim Crow tactics that were used in the wake of the Civil War to prevent black people from voting,” Gore ranted.

Hey asshole, in 2008 I waited five hours to vote and that was in an almost all white area. What do you call that?

  3. Frank Mayo says:

I guess they were all voting for Obama, damn Gore how did you know Romney voters were being let in the back door. Just another Liberial shit talker. SHUT UP!

  4. Did you ever notice that these people wait in the wings like vampires to get their 15 minutes of fame… then theyre gone back into the closet… Didnt hear him say a damn thing about the voters in NY and NJ and how long they had to wait to vote, or how uncomfortable they were. Guess Jim Crow is only in States they need. He should have been out there commending the people up there for even voting..especially both states were Dem. I applaud them.

  5. Kathy Moynan says:

Maybe it’s a little thing called “population explosion”. Or maybe there were just too many illegals voting!!!
