Chris Matthews calls climate change skeptics ‘pigs’

While on speaking about climate change with Rep. Ed Markey, D-Mass., Chris Matthews laments the cycle of politics that only generates discussion on the subject every two years.

“Who’s willing to vote for someone who’s willing to do something about climate change?” Matthews asks.

Markey’s explanation places blame on the Koch brothers and what he sees as perks for the oil and gas industry.

Matthews continues his diatribe saying that back in the 60s “we called such people pigs…they don’t care about the planet…all they want is what they’ve got, their stuff.”
