Boca Raton Republican Club President Margi Helschien has been appointed president of the Independent Conservative Action Network. Helschien, who is also vice chair of the Palm Beach County Republican Party and board member of the West Boca Raton Community Council, begins her two-year term immediately.
As president, Helschien will strive to create awareness and identify challenges in the conservative movement. She will host conservative guest speakers who believe in restricting governmental control over private lives and serve as a liaison for governmental authority that is limited to what is necessary to sustain the country.
Helschien will work with fellow board members to ensure that policies, issues and recommendations regarding conservatives are appropriately conveyed and considered for action. The Independent Conservatives Action Network is a Florida nonprofit devoted to educating the public about the benefits of conservatism.
