Romney nails Obama with side splitting zingers

The lines were probably written for GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney, but the comedic timing was all his own.

Every four years, it’s become tradition for both the Democratic and Republican presidential nominee to speak at the Annual Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner.  This year it was held Thursday, Oct. 18 at the Waldorf Astoria and hosted by Cardinal Timothy Dolan.

Romney brought down the house as he poked fun at the president, vice president, the press and occasionally himself. He finished by exhibiting his characteristic good grace.

  4. I saw and heard the video of Mr. Romney at the Al Smith dinner. His remarks were clever and appropriate and his closing remarks show the human quality ha has and fine person he is. We will be so blessed to have him as our next President.
