For the past six years around Easter, the Washington Post has its annual Peeps Diorama Contest. There were many creative entries depicting some of the most iconic things that Americans love. Check out some of them from this year and years past. These were some of my favorites:
The Angry Peeps depicting the wildly popular Angry Birds game
The Beach Peeps as the Beach Boys
Who could forget the “Miracle on the Hudson”?
Washington crossing the Delaware
A take off on the popular Facebook game Farmville
How about a Royal Peep wedding?
And finally, a depiction of Maryland’s Welcome Home Troops event
You may view more Peep dioramas at the Washington Post’s “Peep Show”.
